Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC

Between the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso and Majella massifs, a region that enjoys a climate characterised by strong temperature excursions, very beneficial for the cultivation of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes.

Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is the largest and most abundant DOC in the Abruzzo region. Some of our vineyards, located in the inland areas of the Casauriense valley, bear witness to more than 30 years of this wine’s history.

Vigna Vetum, which means ‘old vineyard’ in Latin, comes from the berries of these grapes. They offer unique and important spices that we wanted to encapsulate in a precious bottle.

The Montepulciano red wine is also praised by the New York Times as a ‘perfect example of the good, simple everyday wine’.

Oltre a questo vitigno, ci sono altre varietà che danno vini molto interessanti: prima fra tutte il pecorino, da cui si ricava un vino bianco strutturato e molto profumato.
